Wove have been working closely with Bean and Goose to evolve their business, streamline their systems, expand their experience and grow online.

Over the two years, we worked to deliver thoughtful experiences to customers. This included designing packaging that reflects the quality and tells the story of the products.

Sustainability is a key principle for Bean and Goose. They are continually looking to improve their environmental footprint — from using Irish suppliers to thoughtful packaging. With this in mind, we worked closely with the client to create solutions that were viable and sustainable.


Bold Flavours: Designing a layered unwrapping experience

Why? To tell the story and reflect the quality of the product with it’s packaging

 

Bold Flavours is one of Bean and Goose’s core range products that is sold all year round. We designed a layered and tactile unboxing experience that tells the rich story of the product.

All bars are housed in foil stamped, unbleached craft board to visually connect them to the other core range products. Along with a new typographic system and evocative naming, we developed a simple wrap system that allows for creativity to thrive.

Collaboration is a key pillar for Bean and Goose. We worked with Irish illustrator, Aran Quinn, to develop a collection of nature-inspired illustrations that capture idyllic moments in time.

To launch the new packaging, we also developed assets for social media and the website and point of sales branding.

Seasonal ranges: Establishing transient products

Why? To keep products and the brand seasonally relevant

 

Bean and Goose have developed Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter products with flavours and stories to reflect the season. Ensuring whatever the occasion, customers can celebrate it with chocolate.

Collaborating with local illustrators, we designed seasonal product wraps, product inserts, retailer and corporate information packs, social media assets and website updates.

To join up the storytelling, we worked on the naming of seasonal Collections and Bundles, always to evoke a warm and festive feeling.

Subscription service: Tasting Club

Why? To engage customers through a unique letterbox experience each month

 

The Tasting Club is Bean and Goose’s subscription service and letterbox experience. Customers can gift a Tasting Club subscription with a golden ticket — an indulgent gift that gives and gives. Each box includes one limited edition Bean Lab bar, a unique creation that makes the most of seasonal ingredients, alongside one Bold Flavours bar. 3, 6 and 12 month subscription boxes are accompanied by Bean Lab tasting notes.

We developed and designed the Bean Lab packaging system and the Tasting Club experience so their team could manage and upkeep it monthly.
